AI contract review or a Swiss legal expert?

AI software can help an experienced user work through documents. A professional engagement adds an agreed scope, someone to discuss the facts with and responsibility for the commissioned output. Neither label alone proves quality.

By Founderly · Updated . We offer contract services and include our own service in these guides. This is a comparison of published offers, not an independent service test.

Our scoped offer

Founderly publishes four per-contract options. We confirm which one fits your document, the deliverables and the tax treatment in the quote before work begins.

Simple review CHF 250
Simple review, up to three pages. Confirm the document fits this scope.
Standard review CHF 500
Standard review, three to twenty-five pages, with redlines, one internal revision and a negotiation guide.
Negotiation CHF 1'000
Negotiation support. Agree the document, counterpart contact and completion point before starting.
Custom drafting CHF 2'000
Custom drafting. Smaller drafting projects can receive a separate scoped offer.

The three-page boundary and complex documents are confirmed during scoping. See the current packages and inclusions.

Compare the work after the first answer

A tool's response still needs someone to check the underlying document, choose acceptable risks and communicate with the counterparty. Consider the time your founder or operations team will spend doing that. Buying software does not automatically buy an adviser for the transaction.

Similarly, ask a human provider who actually reviews the work, what is delivered and how questions are handled. Technology-assisted professional work is not unusual. The useful distinction is the service commitment, not whether AI appears anywhere in the process.

Test context, coverage and information handling

Use a document you are entitled to share and ask about governing law, supported languages, access controls, storage and deletion before uploading confidential material. A Swiss regional pricing page does not independently demonstrate that every output is suitable for Swiss law.

GenieAI's regional page describes usage allowances rather than unlimited completion of any number of long contracts. Compare your expected workload and current plan terms. For individual support, ask how additional documents and revisions change the quote.

A practical example

An English agreement governed by Swiss law

Your team can use software to organise questions and spot inconsistent definitions. If a clause changes ownership of a core product or the contract references unfamiliar foreign rules, give the reviewer the complete text and your intended outcome. Agree which issues need specialist advice instead of assuming either route covers everything.

Ask before you choose

  1. Who decides whether the suggested wording fits our business?
  2. Which law and document types are actually covered?
  3. What happens when a question remains unresolved?
